Happy Easter

Jacie's 1st Easter was a success. She loved the plastic eggs and the goldfish I put inside them. She loved her basket full of books and Dora and Boots. After our morning at home we headed to my parents house. We enjoyed a ham lunch and then after went on an egg hunt. They had eggs downstairs, upstairs, and all around the house outside. It was fun but made me think about how next year Jacie will be able to do it all by herself. This year I held her and put her near the egg and she would grab it. We got about 9 eggs! She even found one with a $1 bill. She however did not find the golden egg with the $20. Her 4 year old cousin did! Here are some pictures of our day!

Next Saturday Jacie gets to meet Dora and Elmo! We are going to see Dora in the morning and then later that afternoon we are going to a friend's birthday party to meet Elmo. I can't wait!

Tuesday Ramblings....

Okay so look back oh 2 posts ago and you will see the theme for J's birthday party BUT give that idea 1 week and I changed my mind once again. This time has to be final though because I just purchased pretty much EVERYTHING!!! We are back to bumble bees =) I even plan on throwing some creativity into it as well so I need to get busy!!!

Tonight I noticed tooth #3 is in!! The top left popped through and I can see the other 1 is right behind it just like the bottom 2 were.

I am looking forward to Jacie's 1st Easter on Sunday!

Her Easter basket is now complete with her new Dora doll!!!! We have seriously looked everywhere and tonight I finally found 1 at Target! She will be joining Boots, some bubbles and 4 bath books and DONE!

Birthday planning fun!

In the last 2 months I have changed my mind about 4 times on what I wanted J's party to be. The final decision was going to be a bee theme. I purchased a custom outfit and a friend is making a black/yellow tutu. I knew I wasn't going to change it!!! Now, I was just planning on a black and yellow colors and then throwing in bees in the decorations.

Today as I was at Party City returning things I bought there were the last theme I planned on using and I noticed a new theme I hadn't seen before. Its not completely bee, its garden/springy things!! But I think the bee ideas I originally had fit in perfectly with this. She can still wear her outfit and I can still have a bee cake (those were my only 2 ideas btw) and now this way there is WAY MORE color because honestly I love color and I was worried about only decorating with 2 colors. So right now I am very happy with my FINAL (hopefully) decision.

ONLY 1 1/2 months left!!!!

Easter Bunny

Can I just tell you how much she loved the Easter bunny! I thought she was going to scream but NOOOOOOOO. As soon as she saw him she starting squealing and smiling. He waved at her, she waved at him! I put her in his lap and walked away and still no problems. Took about 4 seconds to get a smile and DONE!....only thing is after it printed I noticed the giant bunny shadow in the background BUT I love the picture none the less =)

Next up on our Spring photo line up will be Bluebonnets! We just gotta find the perfect place ;)
