Happy Halloween!

We spend the weekend visiting our family, craving our pumpkins and watching some scary movies (after J was in bed of course)

One year ago today...

We got this....

and now we have this!!!

Can't believe its already been a year!

Learning new things every day!

So these past few days Jacie has learned how to do 3 things.

1. Pushing herself on her hands

2. Full on belly laughing

3. Sticking her tongue out and spitting!!

I learned today that number 3 was taught to her by non other than my mom. She told me that she and Jacie have been practicing that. Well I told her that she has made feeding her an adventure. Jacie is so proud of herself when she does it! She will do it with a mouth full of sweet potatoes and then put on a huge smile for me! Its adorable but super messy.

Number 2 is right now only something I have been able to do make her do so I am pretty proud about that. Honestly I am not even doing anything super funny but it cracks her up EVERY TIME! I tried to get it on video but of course she stopped as soon as she saw the camera.

It is crazy how much she has grown and developed these last 3 weeks. She is so active and doing new things almost daily. She is at such a fun age right now! Only 1 more week until I have a 5 month old! That is so crazy!

Wordless Weekend

OHHHHHH so tired

This video is from last Monday. I guess spending an extra day with mommy and daddy on Columbus Day wore her out because she fell asleep right in the middle of her dinner!

Loving this time of year

Once it hit October 1 I just started getting so excited about the next coming months!! First of all I love Fall. I love the weather and the beginning of the holidays, but really who doesn't? I have been looking forward to the day where I had my own family to share and celebrate the holidays with and now that I do I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to it.

We have been celebrating and enjoying the season and it has been great! This weekend I even put out our Halloween decorations!!!

This is a video of baby J talking up a storm in the car ride back to papa's house! She had something very important to say and would like me to share her thoughts with you =)

What is Jacie doing at 4 months?

• 13.2lbs and 24 inches long
• Wearing size 1 diapers
• Starting to wear 3-6 month clothes but can fit into a few of her 0-3
• Eats 5oz every 3/4 hours during the day, 6-8oz at night
• Starting eating rice cereal at night.
• Can laugh out loud and squeal very loud
• Has the biggest smile!
• Loves to talk!
• Grabs toys, bringing them to her mouth, chews on them.
• Sleeps in your crib
• Goes to bed between 7-8pm, and sleeps until 6:30-7:30. No longer needing that late night feeding.
• Sleeps in a woombie with her arms out.
• Can wiggle all over the place on her back.
• Can now lift her head up on her tummy so is enjoying tummy time much more now.
• Found Sophie and Patches this last month. Loves watching them play and catch each other.
• Loves to stand up.
• Can hold her head up without being a bobble head.
• Her hands are always in her mouth and she is drooling a lot.
• Loves her play gym
• Loves looking in mirrors
• Enjoys being outside
